Gosh.
Today was rather odd.
First off, I was rudely awaken by Mother. She wanted to go watch the Quarter Horse show in Skowhegan , go to Hemphill's Horse Supply, and look at Will William's Horse Trailers At 6 AM! Oh my word, my brain seriously doesn't function right before 10 AM. Sad, I know. So, in my daze of morning time unconsciousness and spite, I took the longest time getting ready. By the time we hit the road, it was about 8 AM. Haha, yeah, I am that intense. We did normal things at first, like run to the bank, gas station, et cetera, the hit the road. Dunkin Donuts took such a long time for our order to some. And when it did, they didn't put the peanut butter on mom's bagel, and they overloaded mine with it. It was nasty.
On our venture to Augusta first, we made a stop at Hemphills Horse Supply and we looked in the barns at the horses for sale there. Mom and I came across this sweet Standardbred that was all alone in a full pasture (if that makes sense...) and was so sweet. The poor thing had inch wide and 5 inch long gashes on it's body, and the flies were bombarding the poor horse. Mom and I sat there for five minutes getting the flies off from him and keeping him company. We left soon after that, and I was almost crying because the poor horse needed a fly mask and ointment for his injuries! I wish the place was close to my home, so I could go and help him! I am a rather sympathetic to animals in hard situations and I am really emotional about not being able to do something. I hope someone feels the same way as I do and helps that poor horse. Ah. I am getting myself all worked up again!
Next we arrived at the horse trailer place. Mom wants a horse trailer again and they have nice trailers. We are looking at a Lakota. Very nice trailers. The owner lady had the tiniest little chihuahua and it was rabid! The little thing barked and growled at me the whole time! I was a little intimidated. Sad. A 5 foot 3 teenage girl being intimidated by a four month old chihuahua. *shakes head*
After that, we went to Margarita's Mexican restaurant and had a nice lunch. I had a taco salad and drank a phenomenal un-alcoholic strawberry pina colada. The icy drink was the highlight of my lunch, since it was 84 degrees (fahrenheit) and I was rather sweaty from standing outside of Will William's for an hour.
Then, we headed to Skowhegan. When we finally got to the show, the people on the loudspeaker announced "... And that concludes our Friday show. See you Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!" Mom and I were bummed. We then looked around at the horses. Such wonderful and well bloodlined horses there. It was crazy. We tried striking up a conversation by complimenting someone's horse, but they seemed to think us unworthy of speaking to her. *rolls eyes* We met 2 very nice people, though. A snack shack lady, and a girl with an energetic little Jack Russell Terrier. I like nice people. :] They make me happy.
So, we left, ordering pizza on our way home, and getting home at around 6 P.M.
The pizza was yummy and for the rest of the night I have been watching FOX News channel with Dad. Haha. I really do enjoy The O'Reilly Factor.
But North Korea's threats on 'enriching their nuclear weapons with Uranium' are scaring me. I wish NK would make peace with the USA. I hope that they see the big picture someday that what the Americans did (whatever they did) was decades ago! But, oh goodness, I am scared. I want to move to a nice quiet country that doesn't have many problems. Like Canada. Canada is great. :]
Orrrrrr... Germany ♥
I've always wanted to go to Germany. I don't really know why. I just do.
